I look beyond one symptom and one laboratory result.
Every new patient begins with an Energē Panel, a comprehensive laboratory evaluation. Thyroid function, including whether the body converts thyroid hormone into the active form your cells use. Insulin alongside glucose, because insulin changes years earlier. Iron stores, read against inflammation, because inflammation changes how those stores appear. Sex hormones with the protein that determines how much of them is available. Cardiometabolic markers and nutrient status.
They are ordered together and read together, because most of these markers mean something different depending on what sits beside them. A result interpreted on its own page, against a range built from a population rather than from you, can be entirely accurate and still miss what is happening.

I built Energē Health because the evaluation most women receive is narrower than the question they are asking. I have spent fifteen years reading laboratory results, and I have also been the patient who was told everything looked normal while knowing that it was not.
My work is to look beyond isolated symptoms, to explain what I find in language you can use, and to make sure you leave understanding your own results.

What Comes Next
Optional. Many women take the roadmap and implement it themselves, and there is no requirement to continue. For those who want help putting it into action, programs run for a defined period and end with repeat testing. Reset addresses what the evaluation found. Optimize adjusts based on how you respond.

Energē Health is a specialty practice. The work here is the evaluation and management of hormonal, metabolic, thyroid, and gastrointestinal symptoms in adult women located in Virginia.
It works alongside your primary care provider rather than replacing them. Your primary care provider holds your whole picture. I go deep on one part of it. Both are necessary, which is why every patient here keeps an established primary care relationship.
Energē Health does not provide primary care, annual physicals, urgent or emergency care, contraception, fertility or prenatal care, or routine gynecologic screening.
